This year I have really ____________enjoyed____________ having a Netbook to work on because …


There are many reasons why I have enjoyed having a netbook, some things are that I could do dojy things on my netbook. I am trying to be manijed.

As much as I have loved having a Netbook there are some things that I haven’t liked because every time I do my work the intanet oways jrops off.



I think It wood be a bad idea to use paper and pencil because my lerning has been betta ever since

Uranus

On Uranus there is no water. people can only live for about 3 days without water.

There is no oxygen on Uranus. people cant severe without it.

There would be many problems if humans try to live on Uranus. The most imporrntant problem is that there is no oxygen on that planet people can’t survive more than 4 minute.

We should get a large pipe connected to earth. This pipe will pump oxygen to Uranus.

We can get an invisible ball this ball has a never ending supply of oxygen that people can breath.

maybe we can make an oxygen drink. It comes in1,000.000 flavours. if people drink this it, It gives you enough oxygen for three days.

one drink gives days give you 3 day over oxygen.

Stupid king Kong was knowingly embarrassing him self. Knowingly stupid king Kong embarrassed his family. Embarrassing himself knowingly, king Kong could not climb up the mountains. King Kong was so stupid that he was knowingly embarrassed.

The creepy slug unfortunately attempted to give people nightmares. Unfortunately creepy slug attempted to scare Iisa. Attempting to give Iisa a heart attack, the creepy slug unfortunately to ended up in preson.

Getting ready to lift off in to my space ship I strapped my seat belt on. I nervously said to my self “Is this going to be a smooth ride?”

Lifting off the ground I felt like I was going to faint. Cutting through the sky, heavy flames. burst out of the rocket’s exhaust pipe. I knew that this was a risky thing to do. Leaving a trail of smoke in the sky, every one cheered for me. I wish I could see my kids.

Did you know that alfajorcitos are famous in Argentina? Room 13 got to make some and it was delicious.

Step 1 get two biscuits. Put the dulce de leche on the biscuit. Levi was the first one to eat it. Finally it was time for our table. I smothered in the delightful Carmel & rolled It in coconuts. Eating the alfajorcitos was gooey and nice. It was so addictive I want to eat it NOW!! I felt like I was in heaven I injode the alfajorcitos.

Felipe is the captain of the agintinin rugby team.

Aussie Rules

Do you know about Aussie Rules? We have been learning to play this game at our school
On the field after lunch we play Aussie rules. Our coach is Meagan.

The weather was awkward. First it was sunny, then windy. It felt like a storm was coming.

Our warm up game was Jumper  Bumper it is a game when you hop and try to bump your partner over. If they fall down you win. I beat Iisa 2 -3!

Our skill that we learnt was running and bouncing the ball. The oval shape of the ball, makes this skill quite hard.

To practice all our new skills we played this game called Kick Baseball. But you got not bat. you have to Kick the  ball hard and  then run, bouncing a Aussie rules ball past 1st, 2nd, & 3rd base till the other ball gets to  home. At the end of the day we all packed up & went to class.

Cross Country

“Yes” it is finally pt england schools cross country. We were all waiting to be called up to start our race. It was time for my race,I was feeling nervous and excited at the same time, I could not wait to run!

Our race started,i ran slow to pace myself,as i was running,children were passing me but i didn’t care,i kept running and i started to pick up my pace and i saw the finishing line.

Cross Country Goal

Yes it is finally Cross Country. My goal is to come 1st or 2nd. I am very keen to come 1st. My house is Takitimu.

Barging through the oppositions team, Ma’a Nonu got a try for his team, the All Blacks.

From 1750 boys at Rugby School in England played football. Since there was no fixed limit to the number of players on any team, major injuries could occur. Handling of the ball was permitted but running with it towards the opposition’s goal was against the rules. You were permitted to catch the ballt but you could not run with it. The game was more like soccer than rugby.

in 1845 the first rules for rugby were written.

Jonah Lomu a New Zealand All Black was a world wide superstar. He began playing in 1994 and played 63 games for the All Blacks. Jonah was a big and fast intimidating player who helped his team win most of their games.

Jonah Lomu was relly lacky.Jonah Lomu had a cindy problen. This man gave on the radeo afther the kidny trantber after his came back he chrid to make it back to the All Blacks. so he played for the harer kanes He move to whloes and Hong kong finle he rtiyred.

Jandales are a type of shoes you can wear at the beach when it’s hot. They are made from rubber and on top it has very cool pictures. In some countries they are called slippers and in Australia they call them



Buzzy Bee is the most famous toy in New Zealand many Buzzy Bees have been sold in many country’s in New Zealand. Nearly every child has a Buzzy Bee to play with in New Zealand.

Badminton

Room 13 did Badminton tine for the fist time.
Whizzing and whirring the shuttle was
soaring in the air accurately. Did it hit the target? Donna was the teacher. she plays for sport Auckland.
The shuttle was flying in the air like a bird, back and forwards to the other team. Spiraling powerfully.
We swung the racquet  over our head, trying to hit the shuttle.
We enjoyed it by using great team work.

beep test

On Monday afternoon we did running, but not any running, it was a test to see how fit you are. Out of 19.0 levels I got to 15.5 The girls had to go first. It was a nice day. There were 17 boy and 15 girls.We all had a nice day

twits

1. one day the twits when down the road to go buy those shot guns that shoot 50 bullets with one shot. The bird where just siting on the roof larring at the twits. The rolpole birds got the key uder the mat. To open the maces cage. The door was uner lock so the maces and birds flip the Kach tabble chers and the mat. The twits came home with their shots gunys.

motat

Have you been to motat You might be jealous since we went there. We went here to see inventions and how they changed.We got split up into 7 groups and went off. In the picture (left side) you can see a 'whisper dish'. The people there are in Miss King's group. In my group I was interested in the space and steam areas. Everything in MOTAT is cool besides those. They even have a mirror maze and an arcade. Most people argued over if street fighter was better than pac-man.
Last we went to the 'tactile dome'. Close you're eyes and you're hands over. Thats how dark it is. I was in the last group. I held on Sosaia's T-shirt and Wakatere held on my T-shirt. Sosaia found most of the ways but soon I let go an made a huge find. While Sosaia and Wakatere went feeling the wall, I felt the slide. At the bottom of the slide I also found the platform about a meter down. We then walked up a ramp, went down another slide and we were out!
As we walked back to the bus, everyone wanted to stay but we couldn't. The bell rang as we got back so then Levi, Uili, Iisa and I ran to riverside.

Swimming

Swimming lessons are important because if you didn't know how to float and swim, you can drown. My favorite part was practicing my freestyle.

Wake Forest Friends

This student teacher came to Pt England School. They came from Wake Forest University. She and others Meagan haped some of us like me. Wake Forest University is a school in the USA

The Bully

The fuzzy feeling grew as the bully got closer! facing my fear I summoned all my courage. ‘You wont get me this time’
I wonder why the bully always wants to get me? Maybe he would leave me alone this time. I was facing my greatest fear.
Summoning all my courage, I tried to catch my breath. Screaming silently in my head, I didn't feel so brave. How could I defend myself against the big bully?

straw bridges

My friends and I had to make a bridge out of straws. Firstly had to make it stronger by making triangles. The class were put into groups and we used cooperation. the class came together and we had to put out bridges between two chairs and put a block on it, to see if the straw bridges could hold it.

Our reading group learn about bridges. I learnt about the Brooklyn Bridge. We drew a picture about the bridge and wrote some information. We made a world tour to show our bridges. I hope you like mine and my firend's work.

Tornado

About 3pm yesterday a tornado did some serious damage in Auckland. Pulling off tin roofs and making big buildings fall down, the resulting damage was horrible. This tornado was quite powerful, killing 1 or 2 people and many others were injured. The devastation was so bad that I can not describe it.

“Did you know room thirteen made straw towers. We were looking for the biggest towers to be made out of just straw and tape. It was quite had because we were on a time limit.
Some of us made it & some people did not. The hardest thing was that because our tower wasn’t stable it kept falling down.

Meteor

A blue & white meteor lit up the northern New Zealand sky. It was reported that a meteor had come from space. It was seen as far south as Wellington. A sonic boom was heard over Raglan.

Life on the Moon

Years ago people looked at the moon wondering Is there life on the moon. in 1969 3 men wanted to discover living things. Half of the space ship landed on the moon and the other half circled round and round the moon.

The Journey

I was curious when my mother and father were whispering. I think they are talking about going for an adventure to New Zealand. I have heard people say that it is horrible. I am not looking forward to it. It is a horrible little boat, with horrible unwashed people and yucky food and old people too. The little hopes that it is worth it.

Capture the Flag

Dodging and sidestepping, we dived to get the trophy. Scurrying like a rat, we distracted the other team to claim our prize. We had won capture the flag

My New Glasses

About a week ago I got new glass and I got to put them on. Then me and my sister had to give them back. All we had to do was wait for the lenses to be put in.

Netbook day

It was very fun to play with the netbook. Just some pepole did not get to play with the netbook. because they did not listen or the battery ran out - like me. they mast of beni sad.
