Eastern Suburbs

on sunday I went to midles farm to get a medal. we went to find a parking spot and then I saw my friend toby I saw him running down the field I saw that he had with him his ball. he kicked the ball all the way down the field I chased the ball I got it and then stop it.

I saw Toby's dad he said that “it is starting soon” they told us to sit on the ground so that we could get their meldis. they called their  names they were calling their names. they  finally they called my name I got my medal. They shaked my hand and gave me a medal.

para-olympic

On tuesday went to the court to see what it will be like being paralyzed. We put one hand in the band first so it will be like you have no hands. It was very hard then we got our partner and done the same. By the way Francis was my badey.

When we were running mr marks was laughing he wanted to record the mayhem but the camera was flat. He really wanted tap us so he could watch us all night. That would've been so funny.
It made It so hard to run and throw the ball we could not bet the time if we were running normal. How can they do it it is very hard.

It was very hard throw we had to hop and after we throw. Then we throw the ball without our hand in the band.

cricket

On Friday me and my dad went to get some cricket gear. We got a bat, pads, gloves, bag, shoes, and stumps.The funny thing was that all things I had were green. My dad threw the ball. It hit my ribs. It was very sore. Then it hit my legs that didn't hurt. It hit my pads.

Once when I was going to hit it the ball the drain was in the way so the ball went sideways and hit me in the legs. It did not matter. Then we went inside.

para-olympic

In the Paralympics there is a 200 meters sprinting race but its not any normal run. They have curved metal blades as their legs because they have amputated legs. The reason why the blades were curved was so that they could run fast. At first they looked like they would fall over at the start the crowd was supporting their team. A man who was running funny got to first place he was running like a speedboat.

In a volleyball game at the Para-olympics both teams have to sit on the court instead of standing because they have amputated limbs. The teams that were playing was Brazil & China, while they are playing the game. They had to drag themselves over the court. They have a different court to the normal one, it has a smaller court and a lower net. The teams had to use teamwork if they wanted to win.

Lees Writing About Sausages

Have you been working hard? Well Rm15 has, so we got to have sausages!! But I did the cooking I can tell you who helped me cook. All you have to do is read and enjoy.



Taniela and I had to grill the sausages. It was fun but Taniela burnt the sausages by mistake. We put the sausages on the grill but when we got back the sausages were all ready flipping over. We knew that it was cooking because it made a big sizzling sound.

The sausages while we were cooking it started to look like a small log. The sausages looked ready to eat but they were not because they were raw on the inside. The meat was squirting out like a volcano it looked disgusting.

The sausages felt like they were dancing on my mouth. I saw the burnt sausages I just missed it. I was very happy that I had a sausage. I hope we have it again!!!!

The lunch ball ring YA!! SOCCER I raced to the field. I was the first one there I saw my team. I went to get the ball off Mr Harris. We got the goals set up and our captains and pit the team.

We got started to run, I ran with the ball then I fell over it a big puddle. But I still got up the poisson and almost got the goal but our differences stopped them. The differences kicked the ball all the way to me.

I got the goal then suddenly the bell rang. Some of us fell over when we were walking. I grabbed the post and put it in Mr Harris room.

alien abdication

Once  upon a time there was a boy named lee and a mini mind alien . one day lee was going to a shop and went to get some lollies when suddenly a flying flashing object came down and  car park almost hitting a car. a green slimy alien borst out of the ufo they grab me and took me to a very funny plant.


They put me into a kennel  for a 100,00,00$ a alien came and bought me and  took me and gave me some bones and eyes a robot came cleaned  all of the mess. the alien went to bed the robot took his mask off it was my brother we ran as fast as we code. into the ufo and we went home.

basketball

On Thursday room 15 went to basketball. I Wondered what we are doing?.We had to practice dribbling the coaches said “use the fingertips to keep the ball under carroll”. I dribbled the ball with my fingertips and it made dribbling a lot easier.

Balancing the ball back and then Auri gave the ball to me. I dribbled the ball to the coach. Then the year 7&8 came. The next skill we had to do was spin the ball around your head body and legs. It is a lot harder then it looks.

That part was hard. Then at the end of the training we had a FUN!! game. We almost came first but we only got to play two games I really like that game. we helped them pack up the basketballs. I really like basketball!!!. luckey we have basketball on Thursday. I can't wait for next week.

Today room 15 went to the hall and done same streching. we ran to the wall and back. we done our pows then we done T.J. and we had terns on the stage.

Olympics

Two thousand years ago the olympics started in Ancient Greece and is still playing today. Every time the olympics stared the soldiers had a truce. The sports that they played were discus, long jump, boxing, chariot racing, pankration.

Art in movement

Guess what we did in the hall today?  We had to work on art in movement.
We chose our olympic images in class. What we had to do was pick out of these sports what one we should poze basketball, fencing, boxing, diving weightlifting taekwondo. six different sport’s we done

Olympics symbol

This term our inquiry topic is the Olympic Games. We will be taking a close look at the London games and also uncovering some of the amazing stories of the Olympics, both past and present.

The colored version of the ring forms the olympic flag. This was the colors blue, yellow, black , green and red covering a white field. These colors were chosen because at least every country had one. They were first made in 1914 and raised in 1920. The Olympic rings represent the continents such as Africa, Europe, Asia, America and Australasia.

Eden park

In the holiday we were going to Eden park to watch the Kiwis and Kangaroos play. When we went to look for a parking spot, we  walked near the doors and they opened. My family took our tickets out of the car.

I was the first one to scan my ticket. I was waiting for my dad to come out. We were waiting for  St Pauls and Otahuhu  to finish their match so we could watch the real game.

It was time for New Zealand vs Australia. It was Australia’s kick off to New Zealand. Stepping and tackling we saw the Kiwis get the first try because we were by the goal post. The time hit 0:00 and it was half time. This time it was the kiws turn to kick off. Both teams played hard but Australia won. The final score was Australia  20 to New Zealand 12.
